While you are wielding this magic weapon, when you make a Charisma (Performance) check to impress an audience with anecdotes of battles you won with the weapon, you are considered proficient in the Performance skill and you add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
Curse. A boastful weapon only deal 1 bludgeoning damage instead of its normal damage until you praise how superior the weapon is compared to all other weapons. Flattering a boastful weapon requires a successful DC 15 Charisma (Persuasion) check, and this attempt must be made while hostile creatures can see and hear you. A flattered boastful weapon deals its normal damage until the wielder finishes a short rest.
