Blue Rose Sword (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (longsword), uncommon (requires attunement) Blue rose swords were originally manufactured as the main weapon in a war between nobles, with their magic being intended to give an edge in defensive battles. However, the war's frivolous justification came at great cost to the people, leading to a violent revolt supported by the majority army. It's said that when the nobles were finally slain, the use of these swords left the castle's walls frozen for years. This weapon has 5 charges, and regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. Frozen Field. As an action, you can spend 1 charge to stab the sword into the ground, causing every object within a 30-foot radius of you to be covered in ice for 1 hour. This radius spreads around corners, and any water within this area is frozen solid. If a creature moves more than half their movement speed within this area on their turn or is moved unwillingly, they must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 cold damage and fall prone. Creatures unaffected by difficult terrain have advantage on this saving throw, while creatures who must spend additional movement to traverse difficult terrain have disadvantage. |
