Blade of Everbleed (5e Equipment)

Weapon (Any Sword), Legendary (requires attunement) Crafted by Fae smiths, this blade is cursed with powerful magic. Any cut caused by this weapon will not heal without the most powerful magics, and even a glancing strike is a sure kill for nearly all foes. Everbleed This weapon deals 1 damage die lower than a normal weapon of its type (ie. D8 becomes a D6, D6 becomes a D4, etc). Each time a creature is successfully hit by an attack from this weapon, they gain one charge of Everbleed. There is no limit to the number of charges of Everbleed a creature can have, and the charges are not removed unless the creature is subject to Greater Restoration or a similar spell, or Wish. At the start of a creature's turn, it takes 1 damage for each charge of Everbleed it currently has; this damage cannot be blocked, reduced or avoided by any means. After a creature suffers this damage, it gains 1 additional charge of Everbleed.
