Bag of Wizards[edit]

Wondrous item, very rare

This thick woven cloth bag is tied shut with a rope. Holding the bag, it feels as if its lumpy contents are jostling about.

When the bag is opened, you can use an action to remove one of 7 wizards from the bag at random, rolling 1d8 to determine which wizard you pull from those shown below. If you roll the number 8, or any die roll that's associated with a wizard that has already been used, reroll. Wizards that died while in the bag can still be retrieved, their corpse vanishing 10 minutes after being pulled out. When a wizard is removed from the bag, it will be charmed by you and obey your verbal commands, but will disappear after 10 minutes. None of the wizards in the bag are sentient, but behave as if they were, and have distinct (albeit simple) personalities. If the bag is opened and unattended, roll a d20 every minute. On a 1, a wizard will wander out of the bag on its own accord, in which case it will act unpredictably, not charmed by anyone. If the bag is submerged in water for 1 minute, all wizards in the bag will die. The bag can also be used as a bludgeoning weapon that deals 1d6 damage, but if you roll a 1 to hit, one of the wizards in the bag dies at random.

Each wizard resembles a small, bipedal kitten with an oversized head that disappears after 10 minutes or when it dies. Once a wizard dies or vanishes, it is gone for good. Once all wizards are removed from the bag, it ceases being a magic item.

Magog the Wizened[edit]

This grey, long-haired tabby speaks solely in self-congratulatory phrases, playing up his many alleged accomplishments, speaking in the third person, all while throwing more and more elaborate honorifics before his name. He has an Intelligence score of 10.

Innate Spellcasting. Magog the Wizened's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 10). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material or verbal components.

At will: vicious mockery

Vladmilla the Cursed[edit]

This pitch black nekomancer does not talk at all. She simply stands around, looking aloof. She has an Intelligence score of 13.

Innate Spellcasting. Vladmilla the Cursed's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 11). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material or verbal components.

At will: acid splash

Create Zombie (At Will). As an action, Vladmilla the Cursed can cause a Small or Medium corpse within 60 feet to rise as a zombie under her control. On each of her turns, she can use a bonus action to mentally command any of her created zombies that are within 60 feet of her. If she issues no commands, the zombie will only defend itself against hostile creatures. Once given an order, the zombie will continue to follow it until its task is complete. If Vladmilla the Cursed is killed or otherwise ceases to exist, the zombie is de-animated.

Jorgen the Arcane[edit]

This sphynx cat wearing wool robes speaks entirely in nonsensical "spell words" such as "Abracadoodle!" with rhythmic cadence and rhymes. He has an Intelligence score of 16.
Innate Spellcasting. Jorgen the Arcane's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 13). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material or verbal components.

2/day each: magic missile, mage armor

Blasticlese the Exploder[edit]

This Russian Blue cat appears to have a large moustache. He has 42 (12d6) hit points, and carries a battleaxe, with which he can make the following attack: Melee Weapon Attack +6 to hit, reach 5 ft. Hit: 7 (1d8+3) slashing damage, or 9 (1d10+3) slashing damage if held in both hands.

Blasticlese mostly talks in "Hos" and "Hrms." He has a Strength score of 16 and an Intelligence score of 16.

Innate Spellcasting. Blasticlese the Exploder's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 14). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material or verbal components.

Verauld the Dirty[edit]

This moss-tinged elderly ragdoll cat wears a conical hat. She is missing half a leg, with a tiny wooden peg instead. She mostly talks in cackles and laughs, and has an Intelligence score of 20.
Innate Spellcasting. Verauld the Dirty's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 15). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material or verbal components.

2/day each: explosive frog

1/day each: black tentacles, cloudkill, polymorph (frogs only)

Bob[edit]

This cat is not a wizard, but is instead a perfectly ordinary bobcat, using the statistics of a lion. Unlike the others, Bob is not a construct, does not come out of the bag charmed, and will not disappear after one minute passes.
