Axed Yarting of Lightning (5e Equipment)

Weapon (battleaxe), legendary (requires attunement) A Long necked Yarting, which resembles a guitar, that has an incredibly sharp blade attached to the resonating chamber, the blade is flat against the instrument and points off the end in the same flow as the fretboard, the blade is reinforced with Dragon Scales from a blue dragon. Ride the Lightning! On a successful DC 12 Charisma (Performance) check, a 7th Level Chain Lightning spell is cast. The Axed Yarting of Lightning has 3 Charges. After each charge is spent, roll a D20. On a Natural 1 is the Yarting destroyed. All Charges return each day at Dawn. Townshred! you can Pounce. If the creature of the Yarting moves at least 20 ft. straight toward a creature and then hits it with an attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the wielder can make one Curse. This Yarting is cursed. Attuning to this item curses you until you are targeted by a wish spell, or if remove curse is cast while you are unattuned to it. The curse applies the affects of Blinding Lightning and Raging Music. Blinding LightningThe creature of this Yarting will be Blinded for 1 minute each time they cast Ride the Lightning and will have disadvantage on all saving throws. Raging Music The wielder of this Yarting will also be sent into a Rage after they cast Townshred they may only take the attack action, and may not use spells. They have all the advantages of Rage. This Rage lasts for 1 minute. |
