Augneral Gear (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, legendary A bronze gear about the size of your palm. Useless to those of flesh and blood, but mighty indeed to those Forged by War. Slotted into the neck's nape, it meshes with two others, one on each shoulder blade. Ability scores enhanced by these gears can go above 20 but not 30. Brambled Augneral Gear. Ivy-laden, this gear notches upon the neck, twisting in place like a wind-up key. Enhances wisdom by 1d4+level. Burned Augneral Gear. Scorched, this gear notches upon the left shoulder, twisting in place like a wind-up key. Enhances intelligence by 1d4+level. Blessed Augneral Gear. White-gold, this gear notches upon the right shoulder, twisting in place like a wind-up key. Enhances strength by 1d4+level. Transcendent Augneral Gear. When all Augneral Gears are acquired, their true power is unleashed. Choose any one, and it feeds on your experience, growing stronger each time. Each gear can be leveled up, but each has its own level. Investment: (previous level times two, + 50 times this level's number) Level 1 = 500 xp: permanent +1 to the gear's benefit Level 2 = 1100 xp: permanent +2 Level 3 = 2350 xp: permanent + 3
