Ashen Wake (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (Quarterstaff), Uncommon (Major) (Attunement Optional) A quarterstaff once wielded by Bishop Abelard. At the top of the quarterstaff is the sigil of Pelor, a sun made of gold. The sigil at the top of the staff is notably shiny, and doesn't need to be polished to maintain it's sheen. Holy Weapon: This quarterstaff is augmented through holy means, so on top of the quarterstaff's 1d6 bludgeoning damage, it deals an additional 1d4 radiant damage on hit. Pelor's Reach: Radiant damage dealt by this weapon's user cannot be resisted, and creatures immune to radiant damage are now only resistant to it. Changing Face: This weapon can be attuned. If not attuned, it has the effects previously described. If attuned, the character attuning to Ashen Wake can change the sigil at the top of the weapon to represent their deity of choice. If you choose to do so, all aforementioned effects pertaining to "Radiant" damage are replaced with a damage type of your choice, in relation to the deity you chose (for example, changing the sigil to represent Osaldir, god of Storms would change the damage type to lightning or thunder damage). |
