Wondrous item, artifact (requires attunement)

There was once a great artificer that wandered the world to learn of technology. As he aged, he modified his suit to compensate for his lack of strength. He was even able to extend his lifespan during the final stages of its development.
When you first attune to it, you gain access to a 100 cubic feat space to use like a bag of holding, but with no weight limit. The suit weighs 40 pounds, regardless of its contents.

Stages. The suit begins at the 1st stage. To increase the stage of this device, you must offer sacrifices: the 2nd stage requires at least 5,000 gp of worth 3 or more rare materials, and the 3rd stage requires at least 10,000 gp worth of 3 unique, rare materials.

Expansion. The suit has a volume of 100 cubic feet for each attunement stage.

Travel the World. At the 2nd stage of attunement, you increase your base walking, climbing and swimming speeds by 5 feet each. At the 3rd stage of attunement, these speed increases become 10 feet, and your maximum jump distances each increase by 3 feet.

Unlimited Power. At the 2nd stage of attunement, you gain a +1 bonus to your Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores. Your maximum for those scores increase by the same amount. At the 3rd stage of attunement, this bonus increases to +2. Furthermore, any Strength, Dexterity or Constitution scores that are still below 12 become 12. This effect overrides all others.

Bound. At the 3rd stage of attunement, you cannot remove the suit without first dying. It is always attuned to you. The suit is now grafted to your flesh, drilled into your bones and fused to your spine. It is advised you remove all clothing before reaching the 3rd stage of attunement.
Destroying the Artificer's Suit. It can be dismantled with an hour's work, losing all properties by doing so. All other damage is repaired over a long rest automatically via tiny repair drones the suit releases.
