Weapon (arrow), uncommon When using this ammunition, you gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls, additionally the arrow does an extra 1d4 + 2 damage if the target is surprised. Once it hits a target, the arrow is no longer magical. Other types of magic ammunition of this kind exist, such as bolts of the assassin meant for a crossbow, though arrows are most common.
