Arm of the Titan (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement)

This large, pale-skinned arm is harder than steel and extraordinarily strong. This item replaces a lost right arm, shrinking to better fit the attuned creature yet still remaining large in comparison to their original arm. While the arm is attached, it functions identically to the arm it replaced, with additional effects. You cannot detach it, and it can't be removed against your will. It detaches if you become unattuned or die. These effects end if your attunement to the arm ends.

Ability Score Change. Your Strength and Constitution scores both increase by 2, and so do their maximums. Your Dexterity and Intelligence scores are both reduced by 2, and so are their maximums.

Damage Resistance. You gain +2 AC and resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

Long Limb. When attacking with melee weapons wielded with this arm, their reach increases by 5 feet.

Power Throw. Thrown weapons that are thrown with this arm have an additional 30 feet added to their short range and 60 feet added to their long range.

Titanic Strength. Your ability to wield weapons normally has changed drastically, causing the following effects.

  • When wielding a weapon with this arm, you are able to effectively wield even a two handed weapon with it alone.
  • If a weapon has the versatile property, the damage die is always the two-handed version.
  • If an attack made with this arm uses Strength, it gains a +2 to the attack and damage rolls, deals an additional die of the weapon's damage, and it's critical hit range is increased by 1.
  • Due to the arm's size, you are unable to wield weapons with the light property in melee combat, and you have disadvantage on melee attack rolls with weapons that do not have the heavy, two-handed, or versatile properties.
