Amulet of Spell Transfer (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, very rare (major) (requires attunement by a spellcaster) This green amulet has runes written around the circular outside of it, and it allows you to transfer lasting spells from one person to another. Selfless Spell. When you cast a spell that has a range of self, you may grant the effect of the spell to another creature within 30 feet of you. If the creature is unwilling, it may make a Charisma saving throw (DC 10 + the level of the spell) to resist the spell's effect. On a successful save, the spell fails and the spell slot used is wasted. Redirect Spell. As an action, you may touch a creature and try to transfer their spell's effect to someone else. The creature must be affected by some sort of lasting magical effect, such as that of the bless or bane spell. If the creature is unwilling, you must make a Charisma check (DC 10 + the level of the spell). On a failure, nothing happens. On a successful check, the effect is redirected. If the creature is willing, you automatically succeed on the check. If the effect is redirected, the effect of the spell ends on that creature. Then, choose a creature within 30 feet of you. That creature then gains that magical effect, as if they were the original target of the effect. If you use this to redirect the effect of a concentration spell from one creature to another creature, the effect lasts for 1 minute on the new creature, after which the magic fizzles out. |
