Amitola's Blade (5e Equipment)

Weapon  (rapier), rare (requires attunement) A silver rapier with an almost gun like handle and trigger and small glowing yellow stripes on the blade. When you make an attack with this magic rapier, you can extend the blade to increase its reach to up to 25 feet. If you score a critical hit with this rapier, the target takes an additional 1d4 lightning damage and is paralyzed until the end of its next turn. If you are attuned to this weapon, you can hide the blade in the handle.
