Aerondight (5e Equipment)

Weapon (Longsword), artifact (Requires Attunement by a Lawful character)
The origins of Aerondight are unknown-- and it is only known that is has been wielded by two great warriors in the past. An unnamed hero, and the Butcher of Blaviken. The sword is acquired from the Lady of the Lake, where it was cast once more, by Geralt of Rivia himself, the Butcher of Blaviken, before his death.
Random Properties. The Aerondight has the following random properties:
- 2 minor beneficial properties
- 3 minor detrimental properties
Traits: The Aerondight is a +3 Magic Longsword. It allows any Lawful Good Human to initiate "Flurry," Which is 4 attacks in one turn, each sharing one attack roll. Each attack deals 2d4 damage. It allows any Lawful Evil human to initiate "Rend," which is one attack which deals 2d8 + Str damage. Lawful Neutral Humans must choose between one or the other upon attuning and may not change later. minor detrimental properties
Monster Slayer After slaying 4 monsters with the sword, of the following creature types; Undead, Abomination, Fiend, or Demon, add 1 damage die permanently to the weapon's damage.
