Advanced Magic Initiate

Prerequisites: Magic Initiate feat
Your studies in magic have advanced your skills.

You may add your spellcasting ability modifier to damage rolls of your Magic Initiate cantrips, and you may cast your spell at a level equal to the equivalent maximum of your chosen class maximum spell level (Ex: If you were a 12th level Fighter and had taken a spell from the Warlock spell list, you could cast it at 5th level).

In addition, if you have multiclassed and have acquired the Spellcasting or Pact Magic feature, you may use that classes spell slots for your Magic Initiate spell. You may not add your spellcasting modifier to any cantrip other than the ones gained through the Magic Initiate feat, and you cannot use a lower level spell slot to cast your chosen spell at a higher level an additional time.
