You gain +2 to attack and damage rolls made with this magical cursed weapon.

Abyssal Spear of Demogorgon
2d8 piercing damage. When wielded with two hands, it deals 2d10 piercing damage. Special Property: On a critical hit, the Abyssal Spear of Demogorgon deals an additional 2d6 psychic damage as the target's mind is assailed by the chaotic energies of the Abyss.


Special Abilities
Corrupting Influence: Any creature struck by the Abyssal Spear of Demogorgon must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be afflicted with the madness described in the short-term madness table (Player's Handbook, pg. 259) for 1 minute. On a failed save by 5 or more, the creature is instead afflicted with the madness described in the long-term madness table (Player's Handbook, pg. 260) for 1 hour.

Abyssal Rift: Once per long rest, the wielder can speak the command word "Gorvaxas" to summon forth a swirling rift to the Abyss at a point within 60 feet. The rift remains open for 1 minute, during which time it emits dim light in a 20-foot radius. At the start of each of the wielder's turns, roll a d6. On a roll of 6, a demon of challenge rating 4 or lower emerges from the rift and obeys the wielder's commands for 1 minute, after which it returns to the Abyss. If the rift is closed before the minute elapses, any demons summoned by it are immediately banished back to the Abyss.

Demogorgon's Favor: The Abyssal Spear of Demogorgon grants its wielder advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks made against creatures of chaotic alignment.


Cursed
The Abyssal Spear of Demogorgon is cursed, and attuning to it binds the wielder to its malevolent will. Once attuned, the wielder cannot willingly relinquish the spear and is compelled to carry out the will of Demogorgon, often leading them into acts of chaos and destruction.


Destroying the Spear
The Abyssal Spear of Demogorgon can only be destroyed by plunging it into the heart of a powerful celestial being, such as an angel or archon, while within the depths of the Abyss itself. Once destroyed, the spear's malevolent influence is banished from the world, but not without consequence, as Demogorgon seeks vengeance upon those responsible for its destruction.



Abyssal "Spear" of Orcus
2d10 slashing damage. When wielded with two hands, it deals 2d12 slashing damage. Special Property: The Abyssal Spear of Orcus has a reach of 10 feet and can be used to make opportunity attacks against creatures that enter its reach.


Special Abilities
Blighting Touch: Any creature struck by the Abyssal Spear of Orcus must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or take an additional 2d8 necrotic damage. On a failed save, the target's maximum hit points are reduced by the amount of necrotic damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest.

Life Drain: Once per long rest, when the wielder reduces a creature to 0 5e SRD:Hit Points with the Abyssal Spear of Orcus, they regain 5e SRD:Hit Points equal to half the damage dealt by the killing blow.

Aura of Undeath: While attuned to the Abyssal Spear of Orcus, the wielder gains resistance to necrotic damage and can see normally in magical and non-magical darkness, up to a range of 120 feet.


Cursed
The Abyssal Spear of Orcus is cursed, and attuning to it binds the wielder to its malevolent will. Once attuned, the wielder cannot willingly relinquish the spear and is compelled to carry out the will of Orcus, often leading them into acts of undeath and destruction. Additionally, the wielder's alignment shifts toward chaotic evil.


Destroying the Spear
The Abyssal Spear of Orcus can only be destroyed by plunging it into the heart of an archangel or celestial being of great power, such as a solar or planetar, while within the depths of the Abyss itself. Once destroyed, the spear's malevolent influence is banished from the world, but not without consequence, as Orcus seeks vengeance upon those responsible for its destruction.



Abyssal "Spear" of Baphomet
2d10 piercing damage. When wielded with two hands, it deals 2d12 piercing damage. Special Property: The Abyssal Spear of Baphomet has the reach property and can be used to make opportunity attacks against creatures that enter its reach.


Special Abilities
Beast's Fury: Once per turn, when the wielder scores a critical hit with the Abyssal Spear of Baphomet, they can roll an additional damage die of the weapon's type and add it to the damage total.


Bloodlust: Whenever the wielder reduces a creature to 0 5e SRD:Hit Points with the Abyssal Spear of Baphomet, they regain 5e SRD:Hit Points equal to half the damage dealt by the killing blow.

Savage Roar: As a bonus action, the wielder can let out a bestial roar, inspiring fear in their enemies. Creatures of their choice within 30 feet must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of the wielder for 1 minute. A frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.


Cursed
The Abyssal Spear of Baphomet is cursed, and attuning to it binds the wielder to its savage will. Once attuned, the wielder cannot willingly relinquish the spear and is compelled to carry out the will of Baphomet, often leading them into acts of savagery and chaos. Additionally, the wielder's alignment shifts toward chaotic evil.


Destroying the Spear
The Abyssal Spear of Baphomet can only be destroyed by shattering it on the anvil of the Primordial Forge, located within the deepest reaches of the Abyss. Once destroyed, the spear's malevolent influence is banished from the world, but not without consequence, as Baphomet seeks vengeance upon those responsible for its destruction.



Abyssal "Spear" of Fraz-Urb'luu
2d8 piercing damage. When wielded with two hands, it deals 2d10 piercing damage. Special Property: On a critical hit, the Abyssal Spear of Fraz-Urb'luu deals an additional 2d6 psychic damage, as the target's mind is assailed by the deceptive energies of the Abyss.


Special Abilities
Illusory Mirage: Once per short rest, the wielder can speak the command word "Urb'thak" to cast the Major Image spell centered on themselves, with a duration of 1 minute. The illusion created by this spell is incredibly vivid and convincing, capable of fooling even the keenest senses.

Whispers of Deception: Whenever the wielder rolls a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack made with the Abyssal Spear of Fraz-Urb'luu, they can choose to reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if it is another 1 or 2.

Deceptive Strike: Once per turn, when the wielder hits a creature with the Abyssal Spear of Fraz-Urb'luu, they can choose to have the attack deal psychic damage instead of its normal damage type.

Once attuned, the wielder cannot willingly relinquish the spear and is compelled to carry out the will of Fraz-Urb'luu, often leading them into acts of deception and betrayal. The Abyssal Spear of Fraz-Urb'luu can only be destroyed by plunging it into the heart of a creature who has been deceived by its illusions and subsequently sees through the deception. Once destroyed, the spear's malevolent influence is banished from the world, but not without consequence, as Fraz-Urb'luu seeks vengeance upon those responsible for its destruction.



Abyssal "Spear" of Graz'zt
2d8 piercing damage. When wielded with two hands, it deals 2d10 piercing damage. Special Property: On a critical hit, the Abyssal Spear of Graz'zt deals an additional 2d6 poison damage, as the target's body is wracked with the toxic essence of the Abyss.


Special Abilities
Seductive Charm: Once per short rest, the wielder can speak the command word "Zz'thara" to cast the Charm Person spell, targeting a creature within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the wielder for 1 hour.

Shadow Step: Once per turn, when the wielder hits a creature with the Abyssal Spear of Graz'zt, they can use a bonus action to teleport to an unoccupied space adjacent to the target.

Whisper of the Abyss: The wielder can communicate telepathically with any creature they can see within 60 feet, as long as that creature understands a language.


Cursed
The Abyssal Spear of Graz'zt is cursed, and attuning to it binds the wielder to its seductive will. Once attuned, the wielder cannot willingly relinquish the spear and is compelled to carry out the will of Graz'zt, often leading them into acts of seduction and manipulation. Additionally, the wielder's alignment shifts toward chaotic evil.


Destroying the Spear
The Abyssal Spear of Graz'zt can only be destroyed by shattering it with the pure light of a celestial being of great power, such as a planetar or solar. Once destroyed, the spear's malevolent influence is banished from the world, but not without consequence, as Graz'zt seeks vengeance upon those responsible for its destruction.
