A bolt hits a creature in range, and great pain takes over the targets mind. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 6d6 psychic damage and falls prone. If the target succeeds on its saving throw, it takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher the target takes an additional 1d6 damage for each slot level above 3rd.
