Pricing
I think you should increase the cost, from 4000 to, say - 8000gp or even more in my opinion. --—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.93.132.106 (talk • contribs) 08:06, May 5, 2009. Please sign your posts.
- The price is determined by the item creation guidelines. This is a continuous (*2000) item of a level 1 spell (Spell Level (1) * Caster Level (1) = 1) and it has a duration of minutes per level (*2), which is a total of 4,000gp. --TK-Squared 05:39, 5 May 2009 (MDT)
- But don't wondrous items have a minimum caster level of 3? Saidoro 16:07, 8 May 2009 (MDT)
- While 3rd level is the minimum level you can take Craft Wondrous Item, most items are made at the lowest possible level (and is standard for all magical items in the DMG). Also, a direct quote from item creation guidelines: "A creator can create an item at a lower caster level than her own, but never lower than the minimum level needed to cast the needed spell." Hope that clears up the confusion. --Ganteka 17:15, 8 May 2009 (MDT)
