Blood Alchemist

There is no actual better container of ingredients than a body. And you know what they have...
—Unknown alchemist, B'Kirth's Wandering Almanac

Prerequisite: Alchemical Weaponmaster (4e Class), Vampire (4e Theme)

The dark art of blood alchemy is derived from a legendary vampire who supposedly dabbled in alchemy. While he saw most as beneath his notice, he found certain acclaimed alchemists who were as eager for immortality as he was for amusement. So he taught them some secrets of the vampiric arts, allowing them to infuse it into their own alchemic practices. The result was blood alchemy. The very essence of life was used to power destructive arcane magics. Using these supposedly blurred the lines between man and beast for the user, but it mattered not when it came to discovering the path to everlasting life. It is said the alchemists who pursued this path did eventually achieve the life they wanted, but perhaps at the cost of becoming a partial monster.

Blood Alchemist Path Features

Blood Bound (11th Level) - Once per short rest, a willing ally can lose a healing surge to let you regain hit points equal to your healing surge value. If they do, they get +1 to attack rolls until their next short rest. In addition, if you do not take a healing surge from an ally at least once per day in this way, you take a -2 penalty to all attack rolls the next day.
Vampiric Vanish (11th Level) - When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you become invisible until the start of your next turn.
Bloody Schadenfreude (16th Level) - Whenever an adjacent creature becomes bloodied, you may regain hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier.
