is this stuff balanced at all?--Lord Survival (talk) 17:23, 13 December 2020 (MST)

Well, if you really need to know this and you can't tell yourself
  • Wellspring of Magic has no cap on the level you can cast, and as such at 20th level you can cast up to 4 9th level spells every short rest. This alone is enough to make the class unbalanced.
  • Guardian's Shield forces saving throws to make attack rolls with no ability modifier. Completely invalidates saving throws, as they are now just objectively worse attacks.
  • Shining Talent is an ASI AND a feat every even level, 10 of each in total. Every other class gets 5 total ASIs, with the ability to swap out for feats(except fighter, which gets 7 ASIs).
  • Better Action Surge at 3rd level.
  • Traveler's Records makes you unable to die. Just straight up.
  • Unlocked Potential exists, and completely invalidates the Barbarian capstone at 7th level.
  • Destiny's Defense is a weird Portent, which comes with the same amount of uses as a 14th level divination wizard.
  • Illustrious Aura gives a +5(or hell, potentially something even higher because of unlocked potential) to every single roll. Paladin gets this only for saving throws, and it starts off with 10 foot range.
  • Resolution makes you immune to almost every single goddamn condition because that's balanced.
This is just the base class. I shouldn't even need to say it's unbalanced. I shouldn't need to say I shouldn't need to say.--SwankyPants (talk) 18:01, 13 December 2020 (MST)
