Vankodek's Bloody Stitches
3rd-level Necromancy (ritual)
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: S, V, M (a bloodstone worth 250 gp)
Duration: Instantaneous

You can perform surgery on the body of any creature, replacing any organs with dead or living organs of any sort of creature. This will work no matter what kind of creature it is. For example, you could attach the leg of a beast onto the stub of a humanoid who has lost a leg and perform surgery without difficulty. The result may result in different benefits and detriments depending on the functionality and compatibility of the parts replaced. The area where the main body attached to the new surgically added part is attached there will remain a black string-like stitch.

The one having the surgery performed on takes an amount of necrotic damage equal to (half the CR of the creature that the organ being attached to the body belonged to)d8.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher you can reduce the necrotic damage by 1d8 for every level above 3rd to a minimum of 1d8.
