Dive Attack. If the aeralfos is flying and dives at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a melee weapon attack, the attack deals an extra 18 (4d8) damage to the target.

Flyby. The aeralfos doesn't provoke an opportunity attack when it flies out of an enemy's reach.

Legendary Resistance. If the aeralfos fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The aeralfos makes three shortsword attacks.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) piercing damage, or 26 (1d6 + 3d8 + 5) piercing damage if made as a dive attack.

Gale Blast. (Recharge 4-6) The aeralfos uses a flap of its wings and draconic power to assail creatures in a 30 ft. line with slashing winds. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 28 (8d6) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

REACTIONS

Deflect. The aeralfos adds 4 to its AC against one ranged attack that would hit it. To do so, the aeralfos must see the attacker and be wielding a shield.

Super aeralfos are born seemingly at random from the eggs of normal aeralfos. Their bright, pale blue scales and sharper draconic features are reminiscent of true dragons, and the powerful abilities super aeralfos gain as they age suggest they wield a portion of a dragon's power. Their innate strength affords them great prestige in the society of lizalfos, which often leads to them receiving even more ornate weaponry and armor.
