With a flourish, you swipe your hand through the air to bring a slash of scorching heat into a creature you try to touch. Make a melee spell attack roll against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 fire damage and 1d4 slashing damage.

At Higher Levels. This spell's fire damage and slashing damage both increase by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
