Weapon (scimitar), very rare (requires attunement)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
As an action while holding the scimitar, you can cast a variant of the burning hands spell that deals acid damage. Once this property of the scimitar is used, it cannot be used again until the next dawn.

This eerily dark scimitar is wet or slimy to the touch and smells caustic when drawn. It is rumored to have stabbed a massive Black Pudding centuries ago that was so large it was dubbed the black river hence the name of the weapon.Slimes and oozes seem hesitant to attack the scimitars holder regardless of the holders intent or threat level.
