Zhi ge (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Zhi ge (止戈)
Prerequisites: Dexterity 13 or higher
Zhi ge is a fighting technique mostly used by monks, and it can translate into "stop the blade". It's not a technique made to deal more damage to your enemies but to stop them.
- You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls you make with shortswords, quarterstaffs or clubs.
- Whenever you hit a creature Large or smaller creature with one of the aforementioned weapons in an attack made at Advantage, and cause 5 damage or more, you can choose to reduce the damage in -5 (to a minimum of 0). Doing so knocks the weapon from your target's hand.
- Whenever an enemy have addvantage on an attack with a melee weapon against you, the damage is reduced by your proficiency bonus if the lower of the two d20 rolls would have missed.
- If you take the Dodge action while you’re wielding the aforementioned weapons, you parry weapon attacks made against you. You add a +2 bonus to your AC against attacks made with weapons by creatures of medium or small size, in addition to that action normal effects.
