Small aberration (zerg), unaligned Armor Class 13 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Dex +3 Hivemind. The zergling can communicate thoughts and emotions telepathically with other zerg in a 1,000-foot radius. This communication is impossible if no overlords are within 1 mile, and is interrupted for 10 minutes if the zergling takes psychic damage. ACTIONSMultiattack. The zergling makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) piercing damage. Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) slashing damage.

Zerglings are small, frontline melee attackers. They are weak individually, but rarely travel in packs of less than four, and usually appear in large numbers to support forces of more powerful zerg. Zerglings use their speed and agility to close in quickly on enemies and surround them, hopping over obstacles with the help of their vestigial wings, before using many rapid attacks to wear down their enemies. |
