Life Points[edit]

You don't use hit point you use life points. At lvl1 to start off you have 2000LP, lvl10 its 4000LP, and at lvl20 it's 8000LP but you always take 50x the damage.

Phases[edit]

As a duelist you follow a different combat system. Your turn works completely different and as Phases.

Draw Phase

Here you can draw a card from your deck. On your first turn of combat you draw 5 cards every turn after you draw 1. To draw you will roll 1d20. You aren't allowed to have more than 20 cards in any deck.

Standby Phase

This is the phase where everyone waits for exactly 1sec for typically no reason unless you do something that makes something happen during this time... Which will almost never happen. If anything happens in dnd or irl that effects the board or players even talking than the second restarts.

Main Phase

This is where you can use your action or bonus action to do anything like summon a monster, use a spell card, set a trap.

Battle Phase

You can use the attack action or use your bonus action to make you monsters attack... Thats it.

Main Phase 2

If you have something you can do during the Main Phase than you can do it here... You probably don't so this is probably just a waste of time.

End Phase

This is where you will discard to the GY (graveyard) if you have more than 6 cards in your hand until you're down to 6 cards. Than you will end your turn but your turn won't end unless you say "I end my turn" out loud. If you can't say you end your turn than your turn will never end.

Further Information

This doesn't mean your turn takes longer than the 6sec it normally does not matter even if the turn doesn't end it just means that no one can continue until you can say "I end my turn" both in irl and dnd

Playing Cards[edit]

At lvl1 you can play cards. You can only use the card by verbally saying the name of the card and for non-monsters what it does.

Monsters
Spells

As an action you may play Spell Cards from your hand. Though there might be rare occasions.

Traps

As a free action you can set a trap than when the conditions are met use you reaction to activate it. Though there might be rare occasions.

Summoning Methods[edit]

Normal Summon

This is when you summon a monster from your hand this will take up your action.

Tribute Summon

This is when you send a monster(s) to summon monsters you wouldn't be able to summon normally with just an action so you must both use an action a monster(s)

Special Summon

This is when you don't use up your action yet still summon a monster typically this is through an effect.

Scanning Cards[edit]

You can see into the very souls of all things and can capture them within your cards. At 1st level, you gain the ability to spend 30 minutes to imprint a written spell equal to your highest spell level or lower(indicated on your class table) into a card(becoming a spell card), or copying a spell cast at or near you while participating in a duel. You can also instantly imprint a defeated creature(must be defeated by a member of the party) into a millennium card(becoming a monster card) to be added into your tin. The creature must have died in the last 10 minutes in order to be scanned. The stats and abilities of the creatures can be modified at the discretion of the DM. Any equipment the creature is wielding is also copied.

Ability Score Improvement[edit]

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. You can increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Anime Deck[edit]

At lvl5 you get to choose a deck from an anime.

Ace Monster[edit]

At lvl5 you can choose one monster from your anime deck, and it will become your Ace Monster. This card will be the first card in your hand, and you will be able to add your proficiency bonus to its attacks * 2.

Extra Deck[edit]

This is where you store your Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, and Link monsters in a separate deck that can be summoned at any time if the contains are met.

Side Deck[edit]

At lvl10 you can pick one more deck in the already chosen anime.

Editing this page[edit]

This page is probably only gonna have the OG Yugioh decks filled out on post. If you wanna follow the same format both for characters that aren't filled out and characters that aren't on here than go ahead but please don't edit the text already put in and I will try and look at it to make sure it's fair enough.
