Ymbrynes are always female, they have tall, lean bodies, with birdlike features, sharp, curved eyes, and a predatory posture, and sharp nails.

History[edit]
Ymbrynes (pronounced imm-brinn) are female humanoids who can take the form of a specific bird. Ymbrynes are commonly travelers, teachers or guardians.
Society[edit]
Ymbrines live apart, but constantly communicate in some way with their kind. Their form of government is usually a council, with the older and wiser Ymbrines as members.
Ymbrynes Names[edit]
Female: Alouette, Altaira, Dove, Robin, Phoebe, Raven, Wren.
Ymbrynes Traits[edit]
Ymbrynes are a magical and cunning species of female shapechanger birds.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age. Ymbrynes reach maturity at 25 and live to be around 2000.
Alignment. Ymbrines live scattered throughout the world, and enjoy acquiring knowledge throughout their lives, and usually adopt some form of addiction, and they use to be neutral.
Size. Ymbrynes are built much like humans, but a little leaner. Your size is Medium
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Bird Eye. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Bird Form. As a bonus action, you can shape into your prey bird form. Use the table stats of the Peregrine Falcon(5e Creature), your equipment disappear, but comes back when you transform into human form again. If you down with 0 hit points, you return to the human form.
You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and two other languages of your choice.
