Xenomorph Praetorian[edit]
Medium monstrosity, unaligned Armor Class 18 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Str +8, Con +6 Acid Blood. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal or wood that hits the xenomorph corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon gains a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to damage rolls. If it drops to -5 the weapon is destroyed. Spider Climb. The xenomorph can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check. ACTIONSMultiattack. The xenomorph makes two attacks with its claws. If both attacks hit a Medium or smaller target, the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Alternatively, it makes one attack with its claws and one attack with its tail spear. Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) slashing damage. Tail Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (4d6 + 5) piercing damage. Inner Jaw. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature that is grappled by the xenomorph. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage and 10 (3d6) acid damage.

Praetorians are the second highest cast of the xenomorph hive hierarchy. They serve as guards of the queen and rarely go outside the hive. They are among the biggest and strongest xenomorphs, usually standing at 10 feet tall. |
