Physical Description[edit]

Xelph's are mostly humanoid, they are tiny, often barely reaching 3 feet. They have small, tyrannosaurus-like arms, underneath their real ones, which it cannot control, save for using a special cookie. They do help with swimming however, which xelphs are decent at. Their eyes are entirely pink, and their rough skin is also pink, but slightly paler. Inside it's mouth, small teeth, stand like small jagged rocks, their nose is a barely visible point on their face. Long, pointy, ears adorn each side of their head, they can have hair, but they are more often then not completely bald. Their legs are very long and skinny, ending with small feet that also possess small toes. Their diet consists almost entirely of goblin, gnome, human and dragonborne feces and, as such, they emit a very foul aroma.

History[edit]

The xelphs are an old race, they seem to pretty much entirely worship Clerics and will follow almost every command they give. They've been around for a long time, but only have a short lifespan, the Clerics are why they're still alive, which is why they worship them so strongly. They are hated widely across a lot of different races, as they have had a long history of eating other people's gardening essentials, mostly manure. Often having a knack for getting them and the rest of the group in trouble, they try to stay loyal, but ultimately fail their task.

Society[edit]

As they aren't really liked throughout different races, they don't communicate with others. Through time, they used the experience in talking only to each other and eventually began to generate their own language. They tend to be mightily shy when first meeting someone, but also lighten up and start trusting the group later down the line. They lived on a small island called Braischia, lived, until it was taken over by gnomes, they now reside in the outer planes of Ayvantigah.

Xelph Names[edit]

Xelph's often have ancient, almost spiritual sounding names. This belies their language of Xelphictongue, which sounds like an immature child blowing raspberries all the time.

Male: Kaetri, Meyachanai, Elpan, Blateseux, Steve

Female: Zelphada, Kirrigaln, Fague, Stiemppress

Xelph Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Constitution increases by 1.
Age. Xelph's typically don't live for very long. You reach maturity at the age of 20, but only live to 70.
Alignment. Xelph's can either be lawful good or chaotic evil, only rarely is there an in between.
Size. You barely reach 3 feet usually. Your size is Small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet. You have a swimming speed of 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Silent Traveler. Xelphs are incredibly light, making their movements hard to detect. You are proficient in the Stealth skill.
Coprophagy. In addition to normal food, you can eat the expulsions of other creatures to fulfill your daily food requirement. You are immune to being poisoned or incurring diseases from this diet.
Fetid Odor. Your odor creates a constant, nauseous smell around you that can be debilitating. While creatures can enter within 5 feet of you, they must end their turn at least 5 feet from you.
Languages. You speak Common and Xelphictongue, a language known only be other xelphs. It is a very wet language, with lots of slobbering noises that make use of the tongue and fluid between the teeth.
