Mana Core: Sentient Metal Aspect. May spend 3 MP to release a shock of razor-hot pebbles in a 15 ft cone, dealing 4d4 piercing damage, and can spend 4 MP to deal an extra 2d6 fire damage on attacks.

Magma Pulse. When hit by a melee attack, roll 1d6. On a 6, the attacker takes 2d6 fire damage.

Crumble Roar. As a bonus action, the lion can cause unstable terrain within 10 ft to collapse into rubble (difficult terrain).

Minor Spellcasting. Can cast sells up to 4 difficulty.

Actions

Claw Slash (Multiattack). Melee Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 24 (3d10 + 7) slashing. Can attack thrice.

Battlefield Action: Elemental Sovereignty

Tell (End of Turn): At the end of its turn, the lion slams its paws down, splitting the earth beneath it and releasing geysers of flame in brief pulses.

Trigger (Start of Next Turn): The battlefield is reshaped in a 30-ft radius:

The ground becomes molten terrain (creatures take 2d6 fire when they move through it).

Pillars of stone rise, granting half cover or blocking line of sight.

Two volcanic vents erupt fire upward: all creatures in 10-ft columns must succeed a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 6d6 fire + 2d6 bludgeoning and be knocked prone.

Counter Options:

Interrupt: A creature with Metal affinity can succeed a DC 20 Arcana check to discharge the build-up by targeting the Bear with a spell that disrupts magical buildup.

Control: If more than one terrain-altering spell is cast before the lion’s next turn, the action is weakened (halve damage and reduce area to 15 ft radius).


Core Drop: 20% for the core to survive the death of the monster, if it does not survive it shatter, it pushes anyone who is in 5 ft of it 5 ft back and makes them prone. Anyone who is in 5 ft from the core on shattering regains half of the max MP the core has and anyone in 10 ft a quarter.

Sentient Core: 20% for the core to have the beast's will in it.
