A creature within range burns for the duration. While it is burning, at the start of each of its turns, it makes a Constitution saving throw. A target takes 15d8 fire damage on a failure, or half as much on a success and the effect then ends for that creature.
When a target fails a saving throw against this spell, choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of target that is not already burning. This new target begins burning, taking damage as above and potentially spreading the fire even further.
