Way of the Crow Brawler (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Way of the Crow Brawler[edit]
Also known as the way of the toxic crow, this tradition was created by a sect of Kenku monks that master the art of knife fighting, and specially, how to infuse those knives with poison. They can summon daggers from seemingly nowhere, and hurl a constant volley of knives upon their enemies.
- Extra Toxic
At 3rd level, you master the art of infusing poison on your attacks by channeling corrupted ki onto it. Whenever you make an attack with a dagger, you can spend 1 ki point to coat that dagger with poisonous energy for 1 minute. The next attack within the duration that hits causes the target to be poisoned.
In addition, whenever a creature is poisoned by your Crow Brawler feature, its damage with weapon attacks is reduced by a roll of your martial arts die.
- Switchblade
Starting at 3rd level, when you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 ki point as a bonus action to hurl three daggers, each targeting a different creature. On a hit, each creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or is poisoned until the end of your next turn.
In addition, you can use your ki to manifest throwing daggers on your hands, without using an action. You have disadvantage on melee weapon attacks using the manifested daggers.
- Slowing Toxin
At 6th level, whenever you cause a creature to be poisoned with your monk features, that creature has its movement speed halved for the duration of the condition.
In addition, the poison damage caused by your Crow Brawler features ignores immunity to damage.
- Swoop
At 11th level, you can leap into the skies, hurling a volley of poisoned daggers around you. When you use Step of the Wind and jump, you can use your Action throw one dagger or dart against each creature of your choice within range.
You can make the throws before or after landing the jump. On a hit, each creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or is poisoned until the end of your next turn.
- Carrion Crow
At 17th level, whenever you cause damage to an enemy that is below half their maximum hit points, you cause additional damage equal to your martial arts die.
