The kobold warrior differs from other kobolds in their use of better weapons, usually a scimitar or shortsword, and the use of armor such as studded leather.
Physically weak, most kobolds never make it past their first decade of life. Those who do, are the ones who are faster and tougher than average, having proven themselves in battle a number of times. These are the elite kobold warriors.
As experienced fighters, kobold warriors usually act as leaders in any group of kobolds. Regular kobolds usually look to them for leadership, and attempt to impress them when possible.

Variant: Winged Kobold Warriors

Winged kobold warriors are rare, but do surface from time to time. Such a kobold warrior has a flying speed of 30 feet.
