Voporak (5e Creature)
Voporak[edit]
Large humanoid, lawful neutral Armor Class 18 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Str +9 Biomechanical. Voporak has advantage on saving throws made against poisons and disease. Time Field. As a bonus action on its turn, Voporak can activate or deactivate its time field. While the time field is active, any creature that begins or ends its turn while within 5 feet of Voporak must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be magically aged 1d100 x 5 years. If a creature is aged past its natural lifespan, it takes 20 necrotic damage for every 10 years it has aged over its natural lifespan. A creature that succeeds on the saving throw is still aged, but only by half as much. A creature touching Voporak has disadvantage on the saving throw and ages twice the amount of years. A greater restoration spell cast on an affected creature within 24 hours can reverse the aging effect. In addition, if a nonmagical item comes into contact with Voporak, roll a d20 and add Voporak's spellcasting ability modifier (+7). If the result is above the item's armor class [1], it takes 10 necrotic damage. If an object would deal damage to Voporak and it is destroyed by this feature, it deals no damage to Voporak. Creatures and objects reduced to 0 hit points by this ability crumble to dust and can only be restored by means of a wish spell. Time Immunity. Voporak is immune to effects that would magically age it. Time Senses. Voporak can sense the location and direction of any effect that manipulates or distorts time within 30 miles. ACTIONSMultiattack. Voporak makes two attacks with its Ravaging Claws. Ravaging Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d12 + 4) slashing damage, and the target must succeed a DC 20 Constitution saving throw or be magically aged 1d100 x 10 years. If a creature would be aged past its natural lifespan, it takes 20 necrotic damage for every 10 years it has aged over its natural lifespan. A creature that succeeds on the saving throw is still aged, but only by half as much. A greater restoration spell cast on an affected creature within 24 hours can reverse the aging effect. A creature or object reduced to 0 hit points by this attack crumbles to dust and can only be restored by means of a wish spell. Rhotuka Spinner (recharge 5-6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 60/300, one target. Hit: 14 (4d6) force damage, and if the target is a creature, it has its perception of time shifted backward by about 6 seconds. Attacks made against the creature have advantage, and the creature cannot take reactions. At the end of each of its turns, the affected creature must declare the actions that it is going to take on its next turn. It then takes takes those actions on its next turn, irregardless of any changes in circumstance. If any circumstance changes between it's previous and next turns that would cause the action to fail, the action fails. An affected creature can attempt a DC 20 Intelligence check on the start of its turn to act normally until the end of its turn. This effect lasts for 1 minute, but a 5th-level dispel magic can end it early.

A towering and silent figure, plated with black and red armor with minor highlights of yellow. Two of their limbs fold at the second elbow to end in massive augmented claws, and a third, weaker limb ends in a spinner launcher. A faintly shimmering field surrounds them. Cold, red eyes peer out from an elongated, crested head. Bionic Physiology. Like almost all creatures from the world it hails from, Voporak's body is 85% inorganic and 15% organic. The inorganic portion consists of a metal skeleton and armor plating, as well as mechanical joints and linkages. The organic portion consists of muscle tissue interwoven throughout the body, as well as vital organs like lungs and a brain. Voporak does not need to eat or drink, but can if it wishes to. Dark Hunters. Voporak is a member of an organization of bounty hunters and mercenaries from their world that specialize in theft and assassination. The dark hunters are incredibly ruthless and driven by profits, and Voporak owes unflinching loyalty to them. Relentless Purpose. Voporak itself was created with a single purpose, to track down and acquire powerful artifacts capable of manipulating time. To that end, it pursues its purpose relentlessly and almost single-mindedly. It never speaks, finding no need to, and takes the most direct path to its goals. Despite this, it harbors no inherent malice, and will not go out of its way to harm others unless they get in its way or it has been ordered to by one of its superiors. |
