The void's bastard, also known as the bastard of the Abyss, is a creature that resembles a dragon, but is in fact an aberrational anomaly created from something known as the Eve of Childhood. The void bastard enters a world through a sort of portal created by the emotions gathered around families struggling with children. These are like fodder for the bastard, who actively seeks budding children to eat. Weakened Prey. The void bastard likes to render prey in the same state of helplessness that most children would be before a monster. Thus, it will usually start out with an intimidating move in combat, preferably targeting a large number of opponents with its void outburst. After weakening enemies by slashing their health, the bastard then uses its claws and jaws to further cut them down to size. The bastard preferably uses its breath as a last resort when its claws and bite prove insufficient, as it does not like to have to charge it. Void's Call. While it can speak, the void bastard is not known to say many things that are intelligible. The few phrases from witnesses known are "Give them back!" and "Delete!" and it is not entirely clear what these ominous words mean. It can be assumed it relates to how the bastard sees children as its prey and adults as annoying obstacles in its way. However, some believe it hints at the void bastard reclaiming something of the children and, in turn, getting rid of something else. |
