Alignment. Lawful Neutral
Domains. Law
Divine Rank. Greater Deity
The rules of balance in the universe was enforced by a being known as Eon (5e Deity). The universe spewed forth life with the gift of free will. Eon (5e Deity) ended up taking on aspects of the mortal mind because of this and two new beings were born inside it. These beings were Vita, embodiment of law and order, and Thánatos (5e Deity), the embodiment of chaos and disarray. They both existed separately, but were still one at the same time. They both had a stronger sense of self than their originator, but still existed for one purpose only. But like Eon, they had no physical nor ethereal forms and were unable to act through the universe on their own. They would send visions and set of series of events to fulfill their needs. But as beings, they were polar opposites, even though in essence they still made up one being, and would come to blows frequently. But due to Eon (5e Deity) and the laws of balance, neither were able to gain more ground than the other. To better interact with the universe, they both created champions. They forged their very essence into blades which were know by the very same name as they were, for the blades were a part of them. They would then indirectly bestow the blade onto a wielder that they deemed worthy, be it that they led the wielder to a special vault through strange visions or the wielder just happened to come across it in the hoard of a fallen foe. These blades bestowed whoever wielding them with incredible power and abilities, but at the same time would wear down the users soul, until they were nothing more than an instrument for the blades originate and can be used as a vessel. The Champion no longer has any attachments to those around them and only exist to enact their purpose.
Vita is the embodiment of law and order. She extends her over influence lawful beings including angels and devils. She has no inclination towards good nor evil, but only exists to enact order and control in whatever form it may be. When presenting herself to the minds of mortals, she usually takes the form of a young adult female with blue eyes and pale skin that emits a faint glow.
