Viperestitution (5e Disease)
From D&D Wiki
Viperestitution[edit]
Contracting Viperestitution[edit]
A rather unknown and very, very mysterious disease. Some even see it as a curse, and rather rarely, a blessing. It can only be transfered by getting Snake poison mixed with Lamia/Naga blood into your veins, be it through an accident, bite or through a different way. When infected, the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become cursed. Only humanoid races can be affected by this disease, anything else gets 1d6 poison dmg for every Stage. The following stages only apply for those humanoid races.
Effects[edit]
Stage 1: (1 - 4 hours after infection) You get a weird feeling, and feel like all of the sudden, it's colder or warmer, depending on your location. You also feel like your legs get closer together.
Stage 2: (6 - 8 hours after infection) You start feeling tired and uncomfortable in cold areas, as your legs start fusing and growing. This causes extreme pain in this part of your body, and you lose 10 feet of walking speed until stage 4 is done.
Stage 3: (14 - 18 hours after infection) Your body until your hips starts growing snake scales, looking like the ones of the snake, whose poison you took. Furthermore, your Canine tooth grow to double their size until Stage 4. Your legs are fused until your knees now, with your feet getting smaller, forming a snake-like tail end. Your body is cold-blooded now.
Stage 4: (20 - 24 hours after infection)Your body is done changing you are now a Naga or Lamia Variant (up to the DM)
