Vileblood (Bloodborne Supplement)
Vileblood[edit]
Physical Description[edit]

Annalise, Queen of the Vilebloods, [1] |
Vilebloods are eerily beautiful yet unsettlingly unnatural. Their forms are refined and elegant, their movements impossibly graceful. With skin as pale as moonlight, piercing crimson or golden eyes, and a regal aura, they stand apart from ordinary mortals.
Their bodies defy natural aging, suspended in a state of perpetual vitality as long as they consume blood. Some bear signs of their cursed lineage, such as unnaturally sharp canines, elongated nails, or darkened veins visible beneath their skin. In battle, their inhuman speed and precision make them terrifying foes, and their ability to sustain themselves through the blood of their victims ensures they never truly weaken.
History[edit]
Once noble aristocrats, the Vilebloods of Cainhurst embraced the power of tainted blood, believing it to be a path to ascension rather than corruption. They stood in opposition to the Healing Church, whose followers deemed their practices heretical and sought their extermination. The Executioners, led by Martyr Logarius, laid siege to Cainhurst, nearly wiping out the blood-drinking nobility.
Though their kingdom fell, the Vilebloods endured. Some remain loyal to their fallen queen, seeking to restore their throne, while others wander the world, hunted and despised by those who fear their existence. Yet no matter where they go, the blood calls to them.
Vileblood Names[edit]
Vilebloods adopt names reminiscent of ancient aristocracy, carrying titles that reflect their noble heritage. Their names often sound elegant, archaic, and refined.
Vileblood Traits[edit]
Blood-drinking nobles of Cainhurst, cursed with immortality and an insatiable hunger.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age. Vilebloods do not age in the conventional sense. As long as they consume fresh blood regularly, they remain in their prime indefinitely. If they starve, their bodies gradually wither over centuries.
Alignment. Vilebloods tend to be selfish and ambitious, seeing themselves as superior to common mortals. Most are neutral or chaotic, following their own desires rather than laws.
Size. Vilebloods are typically taller and more slender than humans, with an ethereal grace that sets them apart. Your size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Sanguine Regeneration. When you deal slashing or piercing damage to a living creature, you regain hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. You cannot regain HP from creatures without blood, such as constructs or undead.
Queen’s Favor. You have advantage on saving throws against exhaustion and only require 4 hours of rest to gain the benefits of a long rest.
Blood Curse. Your cursed blood resists conventional healing. When you receive healing from spells or magical effects, the amount healed is reduced by half (rounded down).
Predator’s Instinct. You gain proficiency in Perception and Survival. If you already have proficiency in either, your proficiency bonus is doubled for checks made to track a creature.
Unnatural Grace. You gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws.
Resilient Blood. You have advantage on saving throws against poison and disease.
Bloodline Retention. When a human is transformed into a Vileblood, their former lineage is not entirely erased. You retain all racial traits from your original race, except for any ability score increases and traits related to lifespan. Instead of your original lifespan, you now share the immortality of the Vileblood, unable to age or die from natural causes.
Additionally, if your original race had resistance or immunity to any type of damage, you retain it. However, this resistance is considered "impure," meaning it can be bypassed by weapons imbued with the accursed blood of hunters or divine effects.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Old Yharnamite.
