Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: Has the versatile property should list how much damage it deals in two hands in parenthesis. Who is Veraxius/Vexarius (an item should be applicable to more than a single setting, much less a single character)? Couldn't any weapon, in this case a Scythe (5e Equipment), be coated in acid or have acid vials affixed (perhaps as a weapon modification?

Veraxius' Scythe

Martial Melee Weapons
Weapon Cost Damage Weight Properties
Veraxius' Scythe 3000 gp (Rare) 1d8 slashing (On successful hit target takes 2d6 Acidic damage) 5 lb. Versatile

This peculiar weapon appears to be a hybrid between a scepter and a scythe, reflecting its wielder's mad genius. The handle is crafted from polished dragon bone, etched with intricate alchemical formulas that glow faintly with an eerie green light. At the top of the scepter, a large, curved blade emerges, reminiscent of a scythe. The blade itself is forged from an unknown metal with a shifting, iridescent surface that seems to change color as it moves, ranging from deep purple to acid green. Small vials filled with bubbling, colourful liquids are affixed along the length of the handle. As Vexarius swings the weapon, these vials rattle ominously, their contents mixing and reacting in unpredictable ways. The junction where the blade meets the handle features a dragon's maw, cast in gold. Its eyes glow with an inner fire, and wisps of yellow smoke occasionally curl from between its teeth, hinting at the weapon's capability to channel Vexarius's draconic powers. When wielded in combat, the scythe leaves a faint trail of multicoloured mist in its wake, and the blade sizzles audibly upon contact, as if eager to deliver its alchemical payload to its victims.
