Vera (5e Deity)
[edit]
Alignment. True Neutral
Domains. Night, Trickery, Chaos
Divine Rank. Greater Deity
Vera was an outcast from the other Deities usually left out of important events, as others believed she would only bring havoc to their creations. Jealousy took over as the other Deities created the world, instead of causing destruction upon the world, she decided to create something behind their backs, a race called Mirages which were made in her image so the other deities would always remember their mistakes.
Vera isn't a very hostile deity mostly keeping to herself or causing a bit of trickery within the world. The reason for being considered a deity of chaos is due to her more spiteful side that can't control when other gods make a fool of her or ignore her, she tends to cause an irreversible event to occur on one of their creations leading a bit of chaos to take hold.
Vera has six arms and six eyes half the eyes being blue and the other being pink, she doesn’t wear clothes as her long white hair covers most of her body. She wears a crescent moon like mask on the left side of her face, she is usually depicted laying on a cloud watching over her creations. Worshipers call her by the name of “The Mother of the Moon”, as she thinks of her followers as her children and makes sure they are safe.
A way her children wordship or speak with Vera is by pouring cherry wine (Which is her favorite wine) into a chalice, after calling upon Vera the wine will turn from a dark red into a bright blue and purple letting you know she is listening.
