Variant Rules[edit]

Starting From Zero[edit]

If the goal is to have a long campaign, consider starting your character with 0 in all attributes before character creation. Depending on the selected method of Attribute improvement, you may find that your character stats reach 20 pretty quickly. Starting at zero might give you a chance to build your character organically, but it is also going to take more time and lower level characters will not perform well in the early game. Take this in account when discussing with your GM.

Otherworld Hitpoint[edit]

The Otherworld is not the real world. As such the damage you take there doesn't reflect on your physical form. In the cast a character has a persona but can't use it there Hit points = 10 + their Constitution Modifier.

Social Leveling[edit]

The milestone method of character level can apply rather easily to the "Social Link/Confidant" system. As characters explore their backstories and open up to the group, that characters social link will increase. Hopefully encouraging players to explore each others characters in exchange for a few more levels.

The Party Social Link[edit]

The FOOL social Link is reserved for the party as a whole for this reason. Award milestone levels as normal for the party through this social link (Up to 10). The remaining 10 levels of a character are award through their respective arcana's level. Do note this may result in asymmetrical parties.

Ultimate Persona[edit]

If a character managers to complete their social link even if they are not at level twenty they can acquire the Ultimate Persona Feat for free.

Velvet Room[edit]

In the event you want to change your character, go to the velvet and change your persona instead. Changing such a fundamental part of yourself may change your characters personality or just change their stats.
