- Welcome!
Hello Zero1323 and welcome to D&D Wiki! I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing, it is recommended that you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.
- Questions
If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question, you can ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here. If your question does not fit into one of the above possibilities or you need to contact another user please use their talk page.
- Formatting
Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help pages also provide help in areas that have been decided as requiring additional explanation.
- Community
A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. To enable the community to function policies are in effect. Most importantly, follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything and do not delete content. Also, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community, you are now a D&D Wikian. SgtLion (talk) 04:12, 5 December 2015 (MST)

Checking in[edit]
Wondering how you are, havent heard from you in a while. I need a list of available admins for my userpage so others can know who they can go to and at what times. I have been...trying to stick with it despite the discouragement. McAlester Gamerz Customer (talk) 12:05, 15 May 2016 (MDT)
I'm not an admin, but happy to help those with questions provided I can, and if I'm not busy I am available. I believe Marasmusine is an admin and one of the people you should direct others to.
I take it your doing ok then? I am just trying to do my best for people here, like yourself. Its just discouraging... i kinda feel like a kid in an unmaintained playground and too many bad kids have junked up the place and made the workers and maintenance crew too territorial or temperamental...or simply have abandoned their post, defeating the purpose of the site/playground to begin with. I dont know man...i am doing the best i know how...its...stressful...i take my considerations seriously. McAlester Gamerz Customer (talk) 12:38, 15 May 2016 (MDT)
I get what your saying, but that's part of homebrew; you have those who don't care about balance and want to play something they think will be fun and decide to try to share it with others and then don't want it to be critizied or changed and then you have the by the rulee players who feel everything must be by the book: no exceptions. Fortunatly, there's a lot of us that are in the middle and that is who the site is for. We strive to make content that is balanced as possible while offering something new or different. We are not WotC and nothing posted on this site should a player feel untitled to play without consulting the DM first. Every single facet of homebrew needs to be discussed with the DM prior to playing. I apreciant that you also care about putting forth thoughtful content in the discussion, even more so that you don't just try editing a page without permission, some don't know to ask first.
Absolutely, I understand the different perspectives simultaneously. I am a bit Autistic, but not the 'unable to learn' kind. I am the opposite, as i love to learn and absorb too much too quickly and am often overwhelmed. Therefore i might remember the rules page by page for various versions, on a good day. LOL. However i have always been more about the 'story' kind of guy. So i know how to spin a really good story. The players in Arkansas Shouted a lovable NPC's name Gorn, He was an Autistic Orc (This was before i found out I was a bit autistic.) He was an Autistic Orc who had a pure soul and would help out people even at great cost to himself, and never complained and even encouraged others...as he was ....being torn...When players forget they are sitting in public and are playing a game and shout out in unison the name of a lovable npc...you know your a good story teller. I could not have told that story with out them. They motivated me to greater depth....Thats what i do. I write good stories. They were the best part of the story. I miss them sometimes...as you can see.
