User talk:Quincy/Parrying Bracer (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
- This has special rules for parrying and damage to the item. 1) Parrying is something that is normally abstracted into attack roll vs. AC (e.g. a longsword is probably better at parrying than this bracer, yet doesn't have a special rule for it), 2) Object damage would be a campaign-level special rule applied to all weapons.
- 5e doesn't have reflex and fortitude saves, nor a "heavy blade" type. Those are all 4e terms.
- Can you hold an item or wield a weapon in the same hand that you are wearing a parrying bracer on? Marasmusine (talk) 12:30, 3 September 2016 (MDT)
