Welcome to D&D Wiki![edit]

Welcome!

Hello Kildairem, and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying this site, and I hope you have been finding the information here on D&D Wiki useful. I am an admin (and, actually, the owner as well) here on D&D Wiki along with a couple other people who make up "The Face" of D&D Wiki. Everything relating to admins can be found here.

Questions

If you have any question about D&D Wiki, D&D, formatting on D&D Wiki, what day today is, or whatever, an admin will, many times, give a good answer. Please feel free to ask any admin any question (ask me a question!).

Formatting

Formatting on D&D Wiki (or any wiki for that matter) can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain the basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Again, if you have any questions about formatting on D&D Wiki please ask them as, I imagine, anybody will be more than happy to help you get them answered.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. Most discussions take place on content talk pages, however please feel free to walk into The Tavern (our local chat room) and talk to some fellow D&D Wikians. Anyway, on D&D Wiki, possibly since discussions are never deleted, people try to be nice. This means please follow Wikipedia's guidelines on Civility and Etiquette when discussing anything. Also, on a pretty different note, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon. Signature icon.png This will automatically produce your name and the date. Anyway, I hope you come to love the close-knit D&D Wiki community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon 16:57, 9 July 2009 (MDT)

I award you this Barnstar for undoing many malicious edits on pages spammed by Rileyblog1 (contribs). Thanks a lot! --Green Dragon 03:34, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Legal[edit]

Hi Kildairem, you've asked for the legal contact information for D&D Wiki. As far as I'm aware, we don't have an official legal team; your best bet would be to contact Green Dragon either via his talk page or email. I would encourage you to wait a bit more if this is still about the Stormforge setting; us admins are trying to get this resolved. — Geodude Chatmod.png (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 21:42, 1 October 2018 (MDT)

In case it comes up again, please note we use Wikipedia's policy on legal threats.[1] Marasmusine (talk) 09:40, 3 October 2018 (MDT)

Marasmusine, Having read the [2] policy; Requesting legal contact information for the purpose of legal arbitration is not deemed a threat. I was not clear as my intent to pursue legal arbitration; at my expense to resolve any issues; I apologize for not being concise or causing any misunderstandings; as I believe I let my frustration get the better of me. I already have a legal decision on two Non-Admins for attempting to publish verbatim from my articles here on D&D Wiki through works submitted to Paizo. That has nothing to do with the D&D Wiki; nor is it Admin's fault.
To make sure I am doubly clear; All of the Admins have all been extremely willing to work with me on an alternative that meets D&D Wiki Policy. As suggested by Geodude671 I am waiting until the Admins resolve other issues and have time to discuss how to proceed before contacting the Admins; to discuss those options. At that time I will work with ALL admins to find a solution that everyone finds agreeable. -- Kildairem 11:29, 3 October 2018 (PST)
Oki doki. I'm not aware of the whole story, I'm just covering you in case it was directed towards an individual user. Marasmusine (talk)
