Welcome to D&D Wiki![edit]

Welcome!

Hello GarfieldofBorg, and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying this site, and I hope you have been finding the information here on D&D Wiki useful. I am an admin (and, actually, the owner as well) here on D&D Wiki along with a couple other people who make up "The Face" of D&D Wiki. Everything relating to admins can be found here.

Questions

If you have any question about D&D Wiki, D&D, formatting on D&D Wiki, what day today is, or whatever, an admin will, many times, give a good answer. Please feel free to ask any admin any question (ask me a question!).

Formatting

Formatting on D&D Wiki (or any wiki for that matter) can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain the basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Again, if you have any questions about formatting on D&D Wiki please ask them as, I imagine, anybody will be more than happy to help you get them answered.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. Most discussions take place on content talk pages, however please feel free to walk into The Tavern (our local chat room) and talk to some fellow D&D Wikians. Anyway, on D&D Wiki, possibly since discussions are never deleted, people try to be nice. This means please follow Wikipedia's guidelines on Civility and Etiquette when discussing anything. And, if an argument does arise, please use Wikipedia's Dispute Resolution to make sure everyone comes out happy. Also, on a pretty different note, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon. Signature icon.png This will automatically produce your name and the date. Anyway, I hope you come to love the close-knit D&D Wiki community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon 15:18, 17 January 2009 (MST)

Tavern Help[edit]

Hello. I noticed your comment on Green Dragon's talk page. He is away (on vacation now, lucky) so I just wanted to let you know what to do. Just type "/me" followed by what you want to do/say and it will pop up like you're noticing others do. i.e. if you Eiji types "/me ducks out of the way" you will see it say *Eiji ducks out of the way.   Hooper   talk    contribs    email   16:53, 23 January 2009 (MST)

Proposed: New Contributions[edit]

I am going to add more contributions soon and I would to know everyone's opinions and suggestions if they have any. Also, feel free to edit my pages for me because I still getting the hang of page editing, so I could use all the help that I can get. Just please inform me on this page before you make any edits. I am usually here every day, so if I don't respond (on your talk page) within three (3) days after you have messaged me, you may proceed with your edits, and I will inform you if there is something that I don't like before I delete it.

The following are contributions (of mine) that I am proposing to add to this wiki:

Felines (as a race. They would be similar to Catfolk) to the Catagories: "Feline" and "Race".
Zords to the Catagory: "Mecha" (specific zords would also possibly fall under "Dragonmech").
Toa (Polynesian), Toa (Bionicle), and Ninjetti/Ninja variant (both would be variants of the "Ninja" class) to the Catagory: "Class".
My feature character/D&D alter ego, Xander Kohen Dracus (if anyone has a better name, please tell me), as well as characters from "The Simpsons" and "Futurama" (specifically Marge Simpson. She would start out as a human ninja, but her character is so versatile that any race and class could be added to her character "template", just as long as it maintains her trademark hair style) to the Catagory: "NPC".

Well, I can't think of anything else at this time. Keep checking back though. Thank you.--Garfield of Borg 17:10, 11 February 2009 (MST)
