It's a good start, but I think speedy deletion should be very specific as to when you can use it. I'm thinking:

  • Pages created by vandals or spammers, which had no prior content
  • Pages created in error
  • Double Redirects, for which all pages that point there have be re-redirected
  • Blank pages which have no edit history.

We might even consider using a (simplified) system like WP uses here. JazzMan 17:12, 20 August 2010 (MDT)

Yeah, that's kinda what I was going for. I'll add that list to the page, maybe that'll clear things up. The only reason I added the bit about abandoned/delete tags would be if someone put "speedy delete" on what was a blank preload, but later had content added to it.--Badger 19:54, 20 August 2010 (MDT)
I don't think an abandoned preload should ever be criteria for speedy deletion, because a user might come back in 5 minutes to fill it out. JazzMan 20:17, 20 August 2010 (MDT)
So I've removed the bit about delete/abandoned, and then added to that list by taking things from wikipedia's policy, and started a "procedure" for adding the template. Thoughts? --Badger 20:39, 20 August 2010 (MDT)
