Poker Cards. Common tool (game set), 0.5 gp. This is a set of 52 playing cards bound together into a deck with twine or string. The most popular games involve drawing and manipulating cards drawn at random, held in secret to each player, and then gambling on the relative "strength" of one's hand. While there is a large degree of luck in each round, over many rounds skilled players can read subtle social cues and cleverly present false ones. A full game typically has 3 to 8 players, lasts 10 minutes, and is decided with a Charisma (poker cards) contest.
