Unarmored Defense. Your AC = 10 + dex + con.

Wings of Night. You can choose stealth as a proficiency. You can also use Dexterity melee attacks with barbarian class features.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Labored Flight. You can use an action to gain a flying speed of 40 feet until the start of your next turn. You can continue using this flying speed after the start of your next turn by using this action consecutively. Otherwise, you must land or begin falling. To use this flying speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor.

Arrow Quill. You have the strange but powerful ability to use your feathers as sharpened projectiles. During a short or long rest, you can create 2d4 of these quills made from your own molted feathers. The quills can either be thrown (range 20/60), dealing 1d4 piercing damage on a hit, or fired as an arrow from a bow or from your cowl, which is treated as a longbow when firing arrows. In which case, the quills are treated as normal pieces of ammunition and deal the amount of damage listed for the specified bow.

Equipment. feather ritual cowl, rapier, handaxe (x2), javelin (x4), backpack, bedroll, mess kit, tinderbox, torches (x10), 1-day rations (x10), a waterskin, 50 ft. hempen rope, stylvix ceremonial guard uniform (neatly folded in backpack), signet ring from Carmia's Grove, vial of purple poison.

Money. 13 gold pieces, 2 silver pieces.

Proficiencies. Light Armor, Medium Armor, Simple Weapons, Martial Weapons.

Rage. You can use a bonus action to get REALLY ANGRY.

Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 + 3 piercing damage.

Rapier. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d8 + 3 piercing damage.

Handaxe (x2). Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + 2 slashing damage. If you are wielding another handaxe in the other hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with that one as well. Your Strength modifier isn't added to the additional attack.

Javelin. Melee/Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., thrown range 30/120, one target. Hit: 1d6 + 2 piercing damage.

Feather Arrows. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 150/600, one target, ammo 0. Hit: 1d8 + 3 piercing damage.

This stylvix is the most valued asset to the Carmia's Grove territory armed forces, and for good reason. Ever since he hatched, he had a severe temper, something that is hardly ever found in a stylvix. He had so much anger, but his biological makeup forced him to bottle it up into a chilling and cold demeanor. He hardly ever speaks, and something on his mind always seems to annoy him to the point where he just wants to lash out. The Silent Wing of Carmia's Grove thought that his temper could be used for good, and so he enlisted Tempest into the military, a decision that proved to be incredibly smart in the end. Ever since Tempest was sent into battle, not a single enemy came within 25 miles of the territory, something that impressed Stylvixi from far and wide. He was offered positions from left and right to lead various stylvixi armies around the globe, but each time Tempest quickly denied the offer. His temper prevents him from being a strong leader, and he wants a very specific incident to never repeat itself. Tempest is also known to have the fastest completion time of the Feather Ritual in Carmia Grove's history, slaying his target in 45 seconds. If this didn't prove Tempest's efficiency and sheer force as a killer, his time fighting against territorial threats did.

Despite showing a tendency to anger easily, Tempest is a kind-hearted soul in actuality. Once the blood is removed from his feathers, those that truly get to know him see that he is just a stylvix with an endless passion to protect his people from the outside world. Because of this passion, his Silent Wing has instructed him to be the first of his territory to venture into the humanoid world.

Tempest's journey certainly wasn't slow to start. As soon as he reached the end of his territory, he spotted a strange fey-like humanoid badly injured about 20 feet away from him. Because the creature didn't seem to look like a normal humanoid found in the outside world, he decided to approach cautiously. The rabbit creature was sobbing profusely and seemed to have a broken arm. Tempest was quick to provide the best first aid he could for her, which wasn't the greatest, but after gathering water and food for the creature, she seemed to stabilize. Tempest was shocked to find out that the rabbit was capable of speaking Sylvan, so he was actually able to communicate comfortably with the first non-stylvix he encountered. It turns out that the rabbit was foreign to the terrifying humanoid world as well, and so for the past couple of years they have traveled the continent going on various adventures, which mostly consisted of stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Tempest was mostly alright with it as long as the royalty and bureaucrats that they stole from were corrupt enough to deserve it. Together with the rabbit and her strange winged cat, there isn't a challenge they can't overcome. As a result, they were eager to take the opportunity to go on a full-fledged adventure to save the high banker's daughter from a mysterious band of thieves.

Tempest of Carmia's Grove is a Stylvixi Path of the Owl Barbarian with the Noble Guard background.
