Trick Weapons (5e Variant Rule)
From D&D Wiki
Trick Weapons[edit]
Trick weapons are feats of engineering that combine multiple battle modes into a single weapon. As a bonus action, you can switch between the weapon's primary mode (as given by its statistics) and its secondary mode, which depends upon the trick weapon. A trick weapon's secondary mode can add, change, or remove properties; inherit the statistics of another weapon; or even become a new weapon in its own right.
