Wondrous item, uncommon

A toxic bomb is a glass orb containing a misty green gas under pressure. You can throw the toxic bomb to a space you can see within 60 feet. It explodes on impact, releasing the gas into a sphere of radius 10 feet. Each creature that is completely within the cloud at the start of its turn must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw against poison. On a failed save, the creature takes 3d6 poison damage. Creatures that don't need to breathe or are immune to poison automatically succeed on this saving throw.

A moderate wind (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses the gas after 4 rounds. A strong wind (at least 20 miles per hour) disperses it after 1 round.

While the sale of toxic bombs to civilians is usually illegal, they can be found on the black market for around 65 gp.
